Throughout Greater China the Government plays an influential role and therefore has numerous buildings and facilities under it's direct control.

Due to the size of Hong Kong and the population base Governmental Buildings are extensive as a percentage of overall construction. Examples include, Government administration offices and headquarters, schools, fresh food markets, police stations, fire stations, courts, prisons and correctional facililities, hospitals, bus terminus, customs and immigration buildings, army and navy facilities, community centres, parks, recreational and sporting facilities, post offices, governmental staff accomadation and so on. All in all, tens of thousands of stuctures to keep a country (SAR) like Hong Kong running.
